Now that the holidays have arrived, Art Classes for Kids has released the WINTER ART BOX, offering all the supplies needed to create three cool art projects, along with exclusive video tutorials.

For kids interested in learning about famous artists and styles, The WINTER ART BOX provides

• an Oil Pastel Contour Winter Sports Drawing inspired by Scottish artist Jim Lambie to learn about contour, silhouette, repetition and smoothing oil pastels
• a Clay Relief Moose Sculpture inspired by the paintings of indigenous Canadian artist Norval Morrisseau to learn how to sculpt with Model Magic air-dry clay, as well as how to color and draw in Morrisseau’s style
• and an Acrylic on Canvas Landscape Painting to learn one-point perspective while making an artwork inspired by the famous painting "Snow Falling on the Lane," by Norwegian painter Edvard Munch.

Created by instructor Kim Bavington, these ART BOXES allow kids to embrace their creativity while learning about different art styles and techniques.

To welcome back The Big Apple Circus to NYC, we were invited to one of the first performances for the new show, “Making The Impossible, Possible!” at Lincoln Center.

Note: I received media tickets for review purposes. Views expressed are always 100% my own.

The Big Apple Circus “Making The Impossible, Possible!” was helmed by world-renowned aerialist, high wire artist and Guinness World Record holder, Nik Wallenda.

It was such a great night of delightful and thrilling performances including


Brothers who "kick" each other around, The clown who takes interacting with the audience to new "heights",  An acrobat who's encircled by "rings",  And to top it all off, seeing Nik Wallenda and his fearless family of high-wire walkers

But those are just a few of the performances we saw. There's more!

While the performances themselves are enjoyable, during each segment we learned more about the performers and why love being part of the circus. It's a great add-in and helps you enjoy the show differently.

We're glad to be one of the first families to welcome The Big Apple Circus back! Families need a night of wonder and excitement that the circus can bring.

The Big Apple Circus will follow New York State, New York City and CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of our Big Apple Circus guests, cast, employees and production staff, as a priority.

Attendees over 12 must wear masks inside and show proof of vaccination. Children under 12 must wear masks.
