As a fan of anime and quirky love stories, I liked the idea behind Satellite Girl and Milk Cow Bluray. Trying to figure out the idea of "love" is bound to be an adventure. To be honest, Milk Cow Guy life needs some excitement. He's sorta not living his best life before he meets up with Satellite Girl.

While this is an anime, it's not for little kids. It's best for kids 12 and up who can handle the ideas of relationships (being single and couples), along with some scary scene (people die).

Satellite Girl brings lots of innocence and quirk into Milk Cow Guy life, and it's sweet to watch. While I wished some parts of their love story would move faster, in the end it's the best way for them both to understand the feeling of "love" and how they care for each other.

While watching the duo go through the adventures of discovering what "love" is was entertaining, the side characters brought a different level of adventure. There's a dog that cooks and cleans, a talking toilet paper, and a scary walking incinerator. Watching those characters keep the couple on their toes was a secondary treat in Satellite Girl and Milk Cow.

An out of commission satellite picks up a lovelorn ballad on her radio antenna and descends to Earth to find the source of such sincere emotions. But on the way she is caught in a raging magical battle and transforms into Satellite Girl, complete with rocket shoes and weapon-firing limbs.

Meanwhile, the balladeer in question – a loser twentysomething at a cafĂ© open mic – meets the fate that befalls all broken-hearted lovers: he is turned into a farm animal.

But love knows no bounds, and aided by the wise and powerful Merlin – a wizard who has been turned into a roll of toilet paper – our duo must evade the all-consuming incinerator monster, the wily pig witch, and other nefarious adversaries in an attempt to be together.
