By 1/31/2014 01:19:00 PM ,

After attending the At Middleton Film screening with The New York Film Critics Series (NYFCS), I was even more excited about the release in theaters, On Demand and iTunes on January 31, 2014.

At Middleton Film Interview with Adam Rodgers Director and Glenn German Producer

Note: I was invited as media to this event. No other compensation was received. Any personal views expressed are always 100% my own.

During the screening I heard Andy Garcia (Actor/Producer), Adam Rodgers (Director/Co-Writer) and Glenn German (Co-writer, Producer) talk about the process of making the movie. When I was invited to press day for "At Middleton" I couldn't wait to interview Adam and Glenn about the process of bringing "At Middleton" into the theaters. While "At Middleton" seems like a straight forward romantic comedy movie, there's so many layers to both the characters and the way the story develops.

Meeting Adam and Glenn was really amazing. Both of them were very friendly and open to talking with me about the movie. You can watch my interview with them below.

During the interview we talked about how they came up with the story idea, why they chose highlight a mature romance and what they hope people takeaway after seeing "At Middleton" film.

I really enjoyed interviewing them and think they made a great movie with heart. I encourage you to see it!

SYNOPSIS

In AT MIDDLETON, Andy Garcia and Vera Farmiga star as straight-laced George and eccentric Edith, two strangers who meet on their children's campus tour at the idyllic Middleton College. Failing comically to connect with their kids, George and Edith play hooky together, ditching the official tour for a carefree adventure reminiscent of their own college years.

The film’s supporting cast includes Vera Farmiga’s real-life sister, Taissa Farmiga ("American Horror Story"), Spencer Lofranco (JAMESY BOY), Peter Riegert (“Dads,” ANIMAL HOUSE), Tom Skerritt (“Picket Fences,” A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT), Nicholas Braun (THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER), and newcomers Daniella Garcia-Lorido and Stephen Borrello.
