3 Reasons to See American Carnage in Theaters, On Demand & Digital

The film American Carnage touches on immigration issues, struggles with cultural identity and the bond of community, friends and family. The film does a great job of mixing all these topics together with action, suspense and lots of thrills.

Note: I was invited as media for movie screening and film cast interview. However any personal views expressed are always 100% my own.

Now that Saban Films's American Carnage has released in Theaters, On Demand and Digital, I'm sharing my movie review and reasons why it's a must see summer film.

The Action

Without giving to much away, the film is filled with action! Who would have thought a film about a nursing home for seniors would have some great thrilling chase and fight scenes.

I loved that it's not just one main character doing the action, nearly everyone in American Carnage is a fighter in some way.

The Humor

For a movie that mostly a mix of social commentary and part horror, getting some humor at key moments is a delight.

How humor is worked in and with certain characters is surprisingly enjoyable. It really helps move the story along after some scary scenes.

Putting Faces to Immigration Issues

American Carnage gets right into the grimly details of how the issues of immigration has been handled and some of the reasons why. We've all seen the video, photos and articles about families being separated and put into "holding" cages.

This film take things one step further and adds a viable storyline for both sides of the issue. Add in how some cultures views others as a commodity and it's scary accurate how real life can be. And what people can do to each other.
