We all know that listening to music can relax you, but did you know it can also help you get better sleep? Especially if you're an older adult with sleep problems.

Over the past few weeks, I've used the Dreampad Support Pillow to help me both relax through sound therapy and ease into a more restful sleep. All without having to share sounds with others. I can listen directly through my Dreampad Pillow easily. It's been great!


How was I able to do this?

By using the Dreampad app, which works with both Android and iPhones, I can easily listen to sounds engineered specifically for deep sleep, including music or nature themed. Or if I preferred, I can listen to my own music selection on my smartphone, outside the app.


Either way I can set a time limit, which then turns off so my sleep state continues sound-free. The Hypo-allergenic pillow itself is soft and comfortable, so you won't feel the section where the Bluetooth receiver is stored. Nothing to interrupt your sleep.

I can truly say going to sleep with soothing sounds or music really makes a difference in how I sleep through the night and wake up in the morning. But I'm not the only one.

Results from a SleepScore Labs Study show:

  • Music improves mood and supports emotional health.

The studies also learned that you don't need a lot of time to get the benefits. It's as simples as listening to music every night for at least two to four weeks, may lead to positive sleep outcomes.
