This week, we joined a special IMAX Q&A with Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore Cast Eddie Redmayne, Jessica Williams, William Nadylam, Dan Fogler, along with Director David Yates, before watching the film!

Note: I was invited as media for movie screening and film cast interview. However any personal views expressed are always 100% my own.

Of course seeing the movie before it's official release is exciting, getting to hear the director and actors talk about the film and their roles is such a bonus!


But that's not the only bonus we received during the special screening. Before even going inside the IMAX theater, there was a fun photo booth and table gifting us Fantastic Beasts merchandise including a Secrets of Dumbledore poster, hat and wand just like Albus Dumbledore's!


Hands filled with goodies, we found our seats for the Q&A with cast and director. To get ready for their arrival, we joined in and raised our wands as a group....for a quick photo. My son was excited to join in since he's semi representing #TeamHufflepuffs.

IMAX Q&A with Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore Cast

Seeing and hearing from the cast was so fun. They shared their love of being the movie and a few behind the scene moments, like how Dan Fogler felt when his character received a wand and how David Yates feels being in the Harry Potter Universe over 7 films!

While I can't share everything, I can share a few fun highlights from the interview in the below video.

After the Q&A, we watched Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore for the FIRST TIME WORLDWIDE. Which made the whole night experience memorable.

I can't officially say more about the film till closer to it's release in US theaters on April 15th, BUT if you're a Harry Potter Universe fan or just a fan of the last two Fantastic Beasts films, then you'll enjoy The Secrets of Dumbledore.

SYNOPSIS

“Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” is the newest adventure in the Wizarding World™ created by J.K. Rowling.

Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) is moving to seize control of the wizarding world.

Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers.

But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore remain on the sidelines?
