At a recent event, I learned about food and travel experience families can enjoy when visiting Tennessee, including their Discover Tennessee Playcation!

What is Discover Tennessee Playcation? A first-ever holiday catalog for children inspired by tourism.

One of the fun features about this catalog is that includes mini building sets of different iconic locations families can visit in Tennessee. I thought this was a great way to include kids in the travel planning.


And the point of the Discover Tennessee Playcation is to encourage gifting experiences to kids in their lives, and still see the joy in their eyes as they unwrap physical presents.

Tennessee Tourism will mail 100,000 physical catalogs offering 88 pages of fun for the whole family.

Parents can purchase 25 toy builds inspired by Tennessee’s biggest attractions – from Dollywood and the Great Smoky Mountains to Graceland in Memphis, the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga, the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, and the Bristol Motor Speedway – then plan their trips to that location!
