Weekends can be a hectic time for me and my son. There's the usual running around to blog and media events, after which we try to enjoy some play time.

With no time to change his clothes between activities, I like to dress my son in kids fashions that will look great and keep him comfortable anywhere we go.

One recent weekend, our schedule was full. That Saturday we went to two family bloggers events: first to the Fruit Shoot Kids Drinks event and then to The Moms and Old Navy event. After which we headed into the park for a playdate. Did I mention there was no time to change?

What my son wore

For footwear my son wore New Balance python-themed sneakers. The sneakers matched the colors of his shirt perfect. They had a bright blue design with neon lime laces.

As unique as its namesake, New Balance Limited Edition Python 890v3 ($69.99) are daring with bright colors and a cushy ABZORB crash pad. These kids' running shoe is a playground pleaser with non-marking rubber outsole that parents will like.

My son loved what he was wearing and received many compliments on his outfit. I was happy he stayed comfortable as we dashed from one place to the next. Through it all my son looked great thanks to Paul Frank and New Balance!
