3 Reasons to Watch Disney Pixar LUCA on Digital, Blu-ray and DVD

By 8/04/2021 07:41:00 AM ,

Escape to the beautiful Italian seaside town of Portorosso now that Disney and Pixar’s LUCA has release on Digital, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD.

Disney and Pixar is the same studio that brought you Soul and Coco, both films that were so good! So you know LUCA will also have amazing animation and storyline. So get ready to add to your Disney and Pixar movie collection today!

But just in case your not sure, I'm sharing 3 reasons you should watch LUCA!

The Animation

At first glance you can see that the animation style for Luca is different then other Disney and Pixar films. You get a sense of bright, airy, happy feelings. Even when there's a "sad" scene, it's not overly depressing. Which suits the tone of the film. There's hope and humor in LUCA and you can "see" it.

The Characters

Of course you'll enjoy meeting Luca and following along while he discovers life on the surface as a sea monster. But there's so many other fun and enduring characters in the film. From Luca's best friends Alberto and Giulia, to the background towns people. Each brings something sweet to the films story. Yes even the "villain" Ercole Visconti, who's more comic relief then scary.

The Disney Pixar Easter Eggs

If your a fan of finding easter eggs in films, then you'll have fun trying to find and match the easter eggs in LUCA, while some of them are clear like the Pixar ball, others you have to do more research on like the poster for Walt Disney’s 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, to find out how they fit into the films world. Either way, it's an enjoyable activity while watching the film.

The Disney Pixar LUCA release has a variety of bonus features including never-before-seen featurettes, deleted scenes and two alternate openings.
