Microsoft Store virtual summer camps topics

To help parents find ways to keep kids engaged during the summer, Microsoft Store is once again hosting Summer Passport to Digital Fun, motivating students with a wide-range of digital-skill activities they can participate in virtually.

Available for registration now, and starting on June 1, these free, virtual camps are hosted by Microsoft Store associates, offering fun and enriching online experiences to keep kids’ minds sharp and build their digital skills.

Topic areas include:

  • Space Jam: A New Legacy: Learn game design and block-based coding with help from Space Jam characters and industry pros.
  • STEM & Coding: Learn how to code classic arcade-style games and the importance of inclusion and diversity in game design in Minecraft: Education Edition lessons.
  • Museum Tours: Virtually tour museums like the Smithsonian National History Museum.
  • Social Emotional Learning: Microsoft Store is partnering with Tony award-winning musical Dear Evan Hansen to teach students ages 13 and older how to authentically connect to themselves, friends, family and their communities.
  • Other workshop topics include sessions on Diversity & Inclusion, Flipgrid and Virtual Travel.
