We received a few books to check out and think these are great books. They are easy to read, with fun stories kids will want to follow to the end. The books are also colorfully illustrated with color coded speech bubbles. Kids can take terms reading with parents, sibling or friends by choosing a color.

  • A Crabby Book: Hello, Crabby! by Jonathan Fenske, introducing an ornery crab and his perky pals.
  • Hello, Hedgehog! Do You Like My Bike? by Norm Feuti, in which the title character discovers why his friend is reticent to ride Hedgehog’s shiny new bicycle.
  • Unicorn and Yeti: Sparkly New Friends by Heather Ayris Burnell, illustrated by Hazel Quintanilla, centering on two very different creatures who find common ground and forge a friendship.
  • A Friend for Dragon by Dav Pilkey’s, Dragon is a humble hero with a heart of gold, and he always helps those who need him.

When kids get to the end of the book, the fun continues in the back with interactive drawing lessons based on the story’s characters, along with prompt to encourage kids to expand on the book’s story.

The books are easy to travel with since they're light and small size. You can easily fit a few into a bag and take with you when you travel.
