Sweet Neighbors Come in All Colors Book Helps Kids Learn Diversity

Based on a song by Dick Grover and now available nationwide in bookstores and online, Studio 9 Inc's “Sweet Neighbors Come in All Colors,” features an illustrious group of friendly fruit from the Farmers’ Market, which come in all shapes, sizes and colors, telling a sweet story about celebrating the diversity in all of us.

“Sweet Neighbors Come in All Colors” is designed for parents to help their children ages 2-5 enjoy exploring what makes “neighbors” different, the same and lovable, all through the delightful colorful, medley of fantastic fruit seen in grocery stores all over the country.

Written and illustrated by Lisa Blecker, with art direction and graphic design by C. Aaron Kreader, “Sweet Neighbors Come in All Colors” is available for an SRP of $11.95 on the book’s website, Amazon, or wherever books are sold in retail and online.

An added benefit to the bright, boldly designed storybook and easy-to-follow-along words, is a page of sheet music – “The Sweet Neighbors Come in all Colors” song, with original music by Grover and adapted lyrics by Blecker.

  7. I would be SO HAPPY to win this to read & sing with our 2 yr old grandson Ashton. Anyone who knows me knows that this is a topic I have always been very passionate about & have always bent over backwards to raise our 5 kids the same way into adulthood. We moved over 6 yrs ago so we could be in an area with a lot of diversity of all kinds & more things to do & now 2 of our adult daughters live in this area too & I'm SO thrilled our grandson is getting to grow up here. Some of our neighbors don't even speak the same language as we do, but I always say it doesn't matter because EVERYONE understands smiles and waving hello. :D Plus I love reading and singing with our grandson anyway besides supporting his mama in already making sure he grows up with values of love for all. <3
