When we heard that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would be in Union Square this weekend, of course we had to go. We're big turtle fans after-all.
Note: I was invited as media to this event. However, any personal views expressed are always 100% my own.
Seems the pizza loving turtles were visiting the AT&T store (31 E. 17th St.) to celebrate the premiere of "Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" on DIRECTVNOW.
I've written about the upcoming animated show before and even met the voice of Mickey, Brandon Mychal Smith during TMNT Toys and Products Preview.
But this time it was my son's turn to have all the fun with the TMNT. But he's not the only one. Anyone visiting the ATT store on Sat, Sept. 8 and Sun, Sept. 9 during 12pm to 3pm can meet the TMNT and join in different activities including
Taking an in-store quiz to learn which TMNT you are most alike.
Spinning the TMNT prize wheel to win a giveaway items including mask, comic book, t-shirts and more . We won a button for my son to add to his backpack.
You can also jam out with the DJ playing live music in and outside the store.
We had lots of fun and can't wait for the premiere of Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on Monday, Sept. 17 across Nickelodeon’s channels and on DirectTV.
The reimagined 2D-animated series follows the band of brothers, Raph, Leo, Donnie and Mikey, as they discover new powers and encounter a mystical world they never knew existed beneath the streets of New York City.
