Digimon Adventure Tri Bluray/DVD Series Breakdown & Trailers

Shout! Factory, in collaboration with Toei Animation, has released DIGIMON ADVENTURE Tri, new anime features for home entertainment in the U.S. and Canada.

The DIGIMON ADVENTURE Tri series picks up where the beloved DIGIMON Adventure 2002 series ended. Featuring the DIGIMON characters and cast from the classic series (both versions - English voice cast and the original Japanese audio with English subtitles), the collectible Blu-ray, DVD Combo Pack includes spectacular movie presentation along with insightful bonus content.

The arrival of rampaging Meicoomon starts the countdown to the real world’s collapse. A series of abnormal phenomena occur all over the place. The Digimon who appear through the distortions were waiting for this time to come…

The DigiDestined are cast out of the Digital World when it goes out of order, and even after returning to the real world, they’re driven away by people on account of their accompanying partner Digimon. Meanwhile, a cruel fate is imminent for Kari, who has a more honest and sensitive spirit than anyone…The adventure continues

DIGIMON ADVENTURE Tri. #4 — LOSS Synopsis and Official Trailer

After the “reboot” and Meicoomon’s rampage, Tai and friends arrive in the Digital World. They reunite with their partner Digimon, who have lost all their memories. As everyone discusses what they should do from within the Digital World, Meicoomon suddenly appears and then disappears. She still has her memories for some reason.

Meanwhile in the Real World, Nishijima receives word that Himekawa has gone missing. As he investigates, he determines that there’s been some hidden agenda behind her behavior that has to do with a past event that determined both their destinies.

DIGIMON ADVENTURE Tri. #3 — CONFESSION Synopsis and Official Trailer

Upon seeing Meicoomon’s abrupt transformation, Tai and the DigiDestined search for answers about
Meicoomon's infection. Izzy seeks answers from Meiko but she's lost all emotion. Izzy quarantines Agumon and the other Digimon in the office so that the infection can't spread any further, but Patamon starts to show signs of the illness. Agumon and the others use Kari's voice to tell the team about an important secret concerning the Digital World.

Time has passed since Alphamon appeared and restoration has begun in Odaiba. DIGIMON ADVENTURE Tri. #1 — REUNION Synopsis and Official Trailer
