Note: This post is in partnership with Universal Pictures. I received product samples for review purpose. Views expressed are always 100% my own.

My son couldn't wait to open the two pouches we received. Matter of fact he didn't exactly wait. Before I could finish unpacking everything, my son had already open one! And put it together. Can you blame him? Having your own personal little buildable minion is a fun idea.

Our first pouch contained a Bob Minion with a coffee cup. I think he was meant to be mine cause I could use a few cups of coffee!

For the second pouch opening, I made sure to capture the building action from start to finish. Ha!

And was rewarded with Stuart Minion in a jail bird outfit. I'm guessing this is from a scene in the movie. How cute is he!

My son enjoyed his quick building moments with the minions. They gave him a peek into some of the scene of the upcoming movie and a fun building activity.

Get ready for buildable buffoonery movie-sized mischief. With 12 new henchmen to collect including a new figure, Fluffy, you can create your very own silver screen shenanigans. Features all-new outfits, gear, themes, and accessories. Collect them all and build your loyal Minion tribe.

Illumination, who brought moviegoers Despicable Me and the biggest animated hits of 2013 and 2015, Despicable Me 2 and Minions, continues the story of Gru, Lucy, their adorable daughters—Margo, Edith and Agnes—and the Minions in Despicable Me 3.

After he is fired from the Anti-Villain League for failing to take down the latest bad guy to threaten humanity, Gru finds himself in the midst of a major identity crisis.

But when a mysterious stranger shows up to inform Gru that he has a long-lost twin brother—a brother who desperately wishes to follow in his twin’s despicable footsteps—one former super-villain will rediscover just how good it feels to be bad.

Joining Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig in Despicable Me 3 is Emmy, Tony and Grammy Award winner Trey Parker, co-creator of Comedy Central’s global phenomenon South Park and the Broadway smash The Book of Mormon.

Parker voices the role of villain Balthazar Bratt, a former child star who’s grown up to become obsessed with the character he played in the ‘80s, and proves to be Gru’s most formidable nemesis to date.
