Crocs, Indians and Whales at AMNH Oh My! - WordFUL Wednesday
Before going back to school this year, we spent a day at the American Museum of Natural History.
Of course we visited the Whale, who was in the middle of his annual bath (cleaning). We wanted to give him some privacy, so we headed over to the other areas of the museum.
We visited the Hall of Northwest Coast Indians to check out the new interactive Digital Totem. My son loved using the touch screen to learn different things about American Indian culture.
Next stop was the "Crocs: Ancient Predators in a Modern World" exhibit, where a "expert" took my son around while sharing info at the different stations.
My son was amazed there was live crocodiles there and wondered if they'll get out. LOL. After reassuring him everything is safe, plus they're feed regular so they have no interest in little kids...he relaxed and enjoyed the rest of the exhibit.
Another fun day spent at the museum!
