LEGO Star Wars Droid Tales Screening & The Force Awakens Playsets #LEGOStarWars
Today we had a double treat at the LEGO Store Flatiron. We were invited to screen the last episode of LEGO Star Wars Droid Tales before it airs on Disney XD!
Note: I was invited as media to this event and received a gift bag. No other compensation was received. Any personal views expressed are always 100% my own.
LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales is an animated series of five 22-minute episodes that re-tell the Star Wars saga in chronological order from Star Wars: The Phantom Menace up through Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.
Droid Tales re-tells the Star Wars universe through the eyes of C-3P0 and R2-D2. Following their victory celebration in the Ewok village on Endor, seen at the close of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, C-3PO and R2-D2 have gathered to regale Luke, Leia, Han, Chewbacca and the other Rebels with the tales of their adventures that led to the events of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.
The series offers all of the playful humor that viewers expect from LEGO Star Wars.
LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales is written by Michael Price, who also was a writer for the Simpsons and The Yoda Chronicles.
The series is hilarious. If your family are Star Wars fans, they'll love it! The series is entertaining for both kids and adults and an awesome way to get kids (and adults) caught up on the Star Wars saga before The Force Awakens comes out!
So make sure to tune in for LEGO® Star Wars™ Droid Tales: Gambit on Genosisseries finale (Episode 5), which airs on Disney XD on November 2nd, 2015!
After the screening we had a sneak peek at playsets and products for LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens
There's some exciting LEGO Star Wars figures and sets coming out!

ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of this series. I'll have to see if it's available to buy on Amazon. We cut the cord years ago so we don't have channels. But, I love Lego humor for the games, so I bet this one is pretty good.
