This weekend the Minions movie opens in theaters and here's a great way to celebrate. Not to mention get your own minions figure.

General Mills has teamed up with the Minions to offer exclusive Minions Buddies in every specially marked box of General Mills cereals! Guess who received a package of cereal in time for weekend breakfast!

Our package included General Mills cereal, a box of a participating Betty Crocker fruit flavored snack, an exclusive Minions Buddy and a $25 Fandango gift card to see the film in theaters this weekend!


My son was excited to find his Minions Buddy in our box of Honey Nut Cheerios. Hidden inside each General Mills cereal box, you'll find one of six select Minions Buddies characters you'll see in the movie.

Minions and cereal fans alike can collect all six Buddies in each participating brand of General Mills cereals, including Honey Nut Cheerios, Banana Nut Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Reese’s Puffs, Trix and Golden Grahams. The specially marked boxes of Big G cereals are on store shelves, for a limited time only.


After finding his Minions Buddies, my son enjoyed a Minions snack of Betty Crocker Fruit by the Foot. General Mills has additionally released specially marked packing of participating Betty Crocker fruit flavored snacks, including Fruit Roll-Ups, Fruit by the Foot and Gushers.


Meanwhile I was busy playing with our Minions Buddies. They have pegs so you can connect them for play. Or you can just enjoy them as figures and hang them on your bag. There's many ways to enjoy your Minions Buddies.
