LEGO bricks will transform The New York Hall of Science (NYSCI) June 20 – 28, 2015 into a LEGO-lover’s dream, with building stations, gaming, and a variety of hands-on activities using the iconic LEGO brick during Brick Fest Live, the ultimate LEGO fan festival

During Brick Fest Live, LEGO creations will be on display throughout the museum, making a trip to NYSCI during this time period a journey through a LEGO wonderland.

Activities include:
  • Brick Fest Derby: Kids can build and race their custom built LEGO derby cars down a 35-foot long, timed track.
  • Inspiration Stations: Visitors can add their own custom LEGO creations to existing LEGO cities. 
  • Video Game Arena: Museum-goers can play their favorite LEGO video games, challenging family, friends or fellow museum visitors in the Brick Fest Gaming Arena.
  • Mosaics: Using colorful LEGO bricks, visitors can build a piece of art to proudly display for other attendees. 
  • Brick Fest Theater Trivia & Entertainment: A selection of LEGO trivia to challenge visitors.
  • Shopping: Select LEGO merchandisers and educational services providers will onsite. (Weekends only) 
  • Glow Zone: See LEGO creations shine under ultra-violet light.

NYSCI is offering two chances to win free tickets to Brick Fest Live:

  • Name the Mascot! Participants can submit names for Brick Fest Live’s adorable LEGO-made mascot. Winner will receive four tickets to Brick Fest Live. Entrants must be at least 13 years old. Submissions will be accepted through June 7, 2015 at
  • Submit Your LEGO Creation! Participants build a LEGO creation and upload a photo to social media with the hashtag #brickfestnysci. One lucky winner will have their creation exhibited at NYSCI during Brick Fest Live and will receive tickets to Brick Fest Live and a NYSCI t-shirt. Entrants must be at least 13 years old. Brick Fest Live is free with general NYSCI admission. Due to the expected popularity of this event, advance tickets are recommended. General admission costs $15 for adults and $12 for children (ages 2 – 17) and senior citizens (ages 62 and older).
