A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle at Six Flags Trick or Treat Trail for Kids

We recently visited Six Flags so I could interview chefs Josh Capon and Tony Luke Jr., hosts of Spike TV’s Frankenfoods. After the interview we were able to enjoyed the park, the rides and activities.

Since this month is all about Halloween, Six Flags had a trick and treat trail for the kids to enjoy while visiting the park. My son (and I) had a BLAST walking the trail and meeting all the characters.

I liked that walking the trail was more fun then scary. Some kids (and adults) don't like the scary part of this season but enjoy some of the activities. My son and I are not fans of the scary trick parts but we do enjoy the treat parts.

As I walked the Six Flags Trick or Treat Trail, I watched my son get hugged by some of our favorite cartoon characters. I thought that was a great Halloween treat. Getting the treat bag was just icing on the cake.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Costume

We received my son's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles "Leonardo" Costume from our friends at Nickelodeon to wear specifically for this event. My son loved his costume!

This TMNT costume included the "muscle" jumpsuit, a molded mask and detachable printed shell. The costume was easy to put on over my son clothing and wear comfortable for both trick or treating on the trail and running around Six Flags enjoying the rides.

One of my favorite features of this costume is that you can remove the shell. It velcroed on and off as needed. So when getting on rides we could take off, fold and put away and ride comfortably. After the ride, we re-attached the shell and continued. Very handy feature for a costume!

As you can see we had a great time trick or treating at Six Flags thanks to our Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Costume. That's turtle power!
