This is Where I Leave You Movie Images & Trailer
This week I'm sharing movie images and the new TV spot for Warner Bros. Pictures film, "This Is Where I Leave You" in theaters September 19, 2014.

MOVIE SYNOPSIS
When their father passes away, four grown siblings, bruised and banged up by their respective adult lives, are forced to return to their childhood home and live under the same roof together for a week, along with their over-sharing mother and an assortment of spouses, exes and might-have-beens.

Confronting their history and the frayed states of their relationships among the people who know and love them best, they ultimately reconnect in hysterical and emotionally affecting ways amid the chaos, humor, heartache and redemption that only families can provide—driving us insane even as they remind us of our truest, and often best, selves.
This Is Where I Leave You - TV Spot
This Is Where I Leave You stars Jason Bateman, Tina Fey, Adam Driver, Rose Byrne, Corey Stoll, Kathryn Hahn, Connie Britton, Timothy Olyphant, Dax Shepard and Jane Fonda
Based on the novel "This Is Where I Leave You" by Jonathan Tropper

We stay connected by phone, texting, and email. We used to write letters back in the stone age, AKA the 80's-90's.
ReplyDeleteI stay in touch with texts or on facebook
ReplyDeleteEven though I have a pretty big family (my parents have 6 kids + grandbabies & we all have significant others), we are extremely close. We're all at my parents house on Sunday for dinner (and we all usually pop in through out the week as well). We're constantly texting and calling each other, too. With the exception of my brother (the only boy & the youngest) we all live fairly close. He moved out of state last month to start college. I am very, very blessed to have the family that I do <3
ReplyDeleteI hope my kids do a better job of staying connected with each other than their uncle and I do.

ReplyDeleteWe text each other often and have monthly dinners at our mom's house. Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, both my parents are gone, as is my brother (he passed in 1981, just short of his 27th birthday). I still have my oldeer sister, who lives in Wisconsin with her husband and both of their sons live in the same area (one is now married and they have a 2-year-old daughter). We do go up to see them every Christmas, and when I have a rescue transport up that way I'll meet up with them. Otherwise, we stay in touch by phone and internet. I do wish I could see them more often.

We get together at least once a month and have dinner. I also like to talk to my siblings at least once a week. Patricia
ReplyDeleteWe are far flung, thank heavens for the net! I have one sibling who died and he would have loved Facebook. I also have one brother and his sons nearby. I have them come over a lot. I always make a big cooking production for them (sometimes even printing menus); with just guys at his house they don't get the real home cooking otherwise.
