Nearly exactly 1 year ago I attended an event to preview the digital enhanced Build-a-Bear Workshop store. At the time these digitally interactive Build-A-Bear Workshops were opening outside the New York City area, with plans for the stores to open the in New York City. Well less then 1 year later, they have!

Right before the Thanksgiving holiday I was invited to the newly designed Build-A-Bear Workshop store within FAO Schwarz.


There was a ribbon cutting ceremony with Students from St. Aloysius School, who enjoyed being part of the ribbon cutting and store opening.


After the store was opened, my son and I made a special “Stuffed with Hugs” bear which will be donated to the Madison Square Boys and Girls Club.

I'm so excited we were able to join the opening of the store and be one of the firsts in this Build-A-Bear Workshop store, which is the first store-within-a-store in the United States.



But this isn't the only Build-A-Bear Workshop store that is open with the digital enhancements. Months early we visited the Roosevelt Field Build-A-Bear Workshop store after its renovation.


During our visit to the store we made Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony. We're such fans! We were able to give our Rainbow Dash sounds effects (My Little Pony theme music), special scent (vanilla) and an outfit! Our Rainbow Dash was made with lots of love and we look forward to her friendship forever.


New for this year Build-A-Bear Workshop has added a new friend to their My Little Pony Collection.
