Shandong Culture at Times Square New Year's Eve & WIN an 8-day Trip

As millions watch the Times Square New Year's Eve Ball's first ascent at 6 p.m. EST on December 31st at the Duffy Square Countdown Stage, Chinese and American Officials will deliver greetings while a "Confucius" will share some wisdom with the world. This is the first time an aspect of Confucianism and Shandong Culture will be part of the ball dropping celebration since it began in 1907, as the Shandong Province represents China this year.

Confucianism along with Kungfu, represent Chinese "Zhong" and "Yi," and will reveal the fundamental elements of loyalty and righteousness while presenting the beauty and diversity of one of the city's most populous ethnic group.

Complimentary red scarves, symbolizing the friendship between the US and China, will be distributed to those in attendance while revelers will be treated to a special treat of Chinese local music performed with a combination of Chinese, Caribbean and Brooklyn style.

Also when you "Like" Shandong on Facebook, or "Follow" on Twitter and upload your Times Square photos, you enter a chance to WIN an 8-day Trip to the great province.
