I love dolls, so I was excited to have a chance to attend the 90th Birthday celebration of Madame Alexander and learn more about their collaboration with Dollie & Me.

I was invited as media to this event and received a gift bag. No other compensation was received. Any personal views expressed are always 100% my own.

Madame Beatrice Alexander Behrman founded the Alexander Doll Company and Madame Alexander has been making collectible dolls, baby dolls, washable dolls and play dolls since 1923. During a recent tour of the Madame Alexander facilit, I was astonished to see first hand the many ways the dolls are made with meticulous attention to detail.
A doll's journey from imagination to reality goes through many stages of design, which are each carefully executed. A new doll begins as a series of parts and its colorful personality comes to life through the painting, hair rooting or wigging, dressing and styling processes.

There is a new collaboration between Madame Alexander and Dylan’s Candy Bar, the Candy Princess and the Candy Queen who will satiate any doll lover’s sweet tooth. Their dresses are printed with the iconic Dylan’s Candy Bar pattern with candy inspired accessories.

And since every girl would love the opportunity to dress up just like their dolls, it was simply a match
made in heaven when Madame Alexander and Dollie & Me decided to team up to offer the same
excellent quality matching outfits for girls in sizes 2T-16. These sets come together and offer a variety of lifestyle looks, including dresses, sleepwear, legging sets, sportswear and accessories for you and your 18inch doll. Dollie & Me® encourages originality, ingenuity and play as well as limitless hours of companionship, fashion and entertainment through intellectual play.

I was also excited to learn more about Madame Alexander’s line of machine washable dolls that feature characters such as Fancy Nancy, Pinkalicious and a variety of characters from the Wizard of Oz. These dolls are great for my toddler boys and girls to hold & interact with the “stars” of their favorite books and movies.

Madame Alexander has been amazing in creating imaginative quality dolls and accessories for children of all ages. Happy 90th in the world of dolls!
