I recently posted about going to a private screening for Mike the Knight, a new CG-animated preschool series that helps children learn how to do the right thing. If your a fan of the show then I have exciting news!

Mike the Knight™ will be making a special trip from his kingdom of Glendragon to visit his fans at New York Renaissance Faire August 18-19, in time to celebrate their 35th Anniversary season. The young knight-in-training will be at the Faire at the Queen’s Landing for meet and greets, Mike the Knight storytelling and giveaways, and more throughout the weekend.

Bigger, bolder and more boisterous than ever, this summer’s 35th annual New York Renaissance Faire promises unparalleled celebration, filled with all the first-rate revelry Faire goers have come to expect over the past three-and-a half decades.

Mike the Knight joins a popular array of grown-up knights, swashbuckling swordsmen, ropewalkers, period dancers and musicians, and other special guests. Festivities at the Faire take their framework from the summer day in 1586 when Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth visited the English Shire of Sterling.
