Energizer Universal Battery Charger is Eco Friendly Review

I confess, as a techie family we use many electronic devices. My son alone burns through tons of batteries using his video games and other toys that need batteries. In the back of my mind I cringe because I know where all those used up batteries end up. Our landfills.

While I love technology I also love the earth and try to be aware of products that help me live a more eco friendly life style. That's why I was happy to review the Energizer Universal Charger!

The Energizer Universal Charger (MSRP: $29.99) can charge up to eight batteries at once. I love that it can charge all battery sizes (AA/AAA/C/D/9V) since we use different types of batteries for my son's games, others for emergency flash light and radio or for everyday items like the TV remote.

Using the the Energizer Universal Charger is really easy. You just pop the batteries into the slot, close the door and the charging starts. There's a easy-to-read LED charge status indicator that lets you know how much longer till the batteries reach full charge. Let me tell you that's very important when you have a toddler waiting to play his games!

The Energizer Universal Charger also has an auto shut off when the batteries are fully charge. No worries about unnecessarily using up energy. On top of that it ENERGY STAR-certified.

So techie families everywhere can now enjoy their games and electronics but still be eco and earth friendly.
