5th Holiday Lookbook Event at Highline Stages

Last week I attended the Holiday Lookbook event which showcased the latest tech gadgets, most innovative beauty products, hottest accessories and most interesting lifestyle brands from over 30 brands across all genres including fashion, beauty, fitness, technology, and home décor.

Holiday Lookbook

During the Holiday Lookbook event I learned about the latest offering from participating brands including Motorola, Swipes, StrideRite, Eco Chef, Meleku Jewelry, BlacMera, BloqUV, Blue Print Cleanse and many more! While all the brands showcased great items I wanted to highlight certain brands that caught my attention.

BlacMéra

BlacMéra is a couture brand founded by Yuliana Candra, with a vision to bring the femininity and the romanticism of the old world’s beauty to the modern women. The lavish and alluring signature pieces are cut-to-the-curve to accentuate the silhouette of the feminine line and to bring out the sensuality.

Photographs from her private collection are transferred by skilled artisans to hand paintings and digital prints on fabrics, which can be found on the tunic and house collections.

Maleku Jewelry

Maleku Jewelry handsets highest quality metals (fine silver, sterling silver, gold, copper) with lavish gemstone settings: precious pearls, exceptional black onyx, yellow citrine, smoky quartz, and other rare semi-precious stones. Maleku Jewelry’s has a broad line of custom-made necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings and more.

Maleku Jewelry takes its name from the indigenous and artistic Indians of northern Costa Rica, of which Mrs. Rojas-Bennett is descended. Unfortunately, this tribe is rapidly disappearing as their culture and art vanishes as well. Although there are only about 500 true Malekus left in Costa Rica, this group has managed to preserve their treasured art and creativity, and language. Proceeds of Maleku Jewelry’s sales are donated to the Maleku Indians.
