Nature's Child Nickelodeon SpongeBob Berry & Dora Apple Squeezers Review

Getting kids to eat healthy is always easier when there's a cartoon character on the package, so I was excited to review the new Nature's Child Nickelodeon Squeezers Nature's Child has taken advantage of children's magnetic draw to cartoons in a healthy way: their Nickelodeon Squeezers are all-natural fruit purees in Dora and SpongeBob festooned single serving size packaging.

I really like that Nickelodeon Squeezers are just pureed fruit and Vitamin C. They're also gluten-free, OU Kosher and contain no added sugar or sweeteners like many other applesauces. They're currently available in two flavors - Dora (Apple) and SpongeBob (Berry) in 3.17 oz. pouchs. No spoon required or clean up is necessary.

How did my son like it? Of course he was excited to "squeeze" his snack. He enjoyed the Berry while I snacked on the Apple. The taste is not overly sweet or tart. Giving him the Nickelodeon Squeezers was a great way to make sure he gets his fruit serving in a fun, mess-free way. It's OK to leave hanging around since they don't need to be refrigerated. A cool perk of the packaging is if your child doesn't finish a pouch in one feeding, then you can simply screw the choke-proof cap back on and pop it in the fridge for later.

Sold in 4-packs for $2.99, Nickelodeon Squeezers are perfect for including in lunch bags, tossing in the diaper bag or an anytime snack. Current Retailers: All Super Targets, Kroger, A&P, Food Emporium, Waldbaum’s, Pathmark, Price Chopper,, CVS & Walgreens (Florida).
