Lin-Manuel Miranda shared how he found out he was hired to work on Disney's MOANA the same day he learned his wife was pregnant. Double excitement!

He also shared how he juggled writing music for the Disney's MOANA while being in the Broadway musical HAMILTON and how he picked songs for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson to sing.

Lin-Manuel Miranda also gave some advice on how to view treat others and be creative.

"Karma is real. Be nice to everyone you meet. You never know where your next opportunity will come from"

"If you are unhappy with how you are represented, the only thing you can do is create things to change that. No one is going to write YOUR dream show. Your dream show is YOUR dream show. You have to write it. You can't just sit around and wait for someone to make it. You have to make it yourself."

That is such great advice! I'm excited that Lin-Manuel Miranda worked on the music for Disney's MOANA because it's amazing! During the behind-the-scenes preview, I was able to hear some of the music used with scenes of the film. Both so powerful!

Animator Jorge Ruiz explained a bit about the history and idea behind the movie. The movie is based on the real life migration of a Polynesian culture.

Jorge also shared how he hopes Disney's MOANA helps all people to be proud of their culture and heritage.

I so agree and can't wait for when Disney's MOANA arrives in theatres everywhere on November 23rd!
