The Irish Fairy Door encourages kid's imagination
Encouraging children to use their imagination to exploring magical worlds is the idea behind The Irish Fairy Door Company, who debut their award-winning fairy door collection in USA this month.

Note: I was invited as media to this event and received a product sample for review purpose. However any personal views expressed are always 100% my own.
During a media preview I learned a wee bit about The Irish Fairy Door Company and why kids will be excited to welcome an Irish Fairy into their homes.

“Our Irish Fairy Doors provide a unique portal for children and their parents to tap into their imaginations and explore a magical world that only they can create,” says Niamh Sherwin Barry, Director at The Irish Fairy Door Company. “It’s rather remarkable to watch a child’s face light up when they discover the magic behind these doors. ”
Since the company made its debut in Ireland and the UK just over two years ago, they have found human homes for more than 250,000 fairies worldwide and counting.

As part of their USA launch, The Irish Fairy Door Company has a 1 year partnership with Starlight Children’s Foundation, and will donate product to Starlight community partners, including hospitals, specialty clinics and camps, respite houses and hospices to help support the emotional health and development of children and their families in their network.
“Creative expression has significant positive effects on health for all children and especially during times of distress”, said Jacquie Hart, Global CEO, Starlight Children’s Foundation. “We are thrilled to partner with Irish Fairy Doors to bring the healing power of play and imagination to children from coast to coast at a time when they need it most.”

The magic begins with an Irish Fairy Door. First you need to decide where to put your fairy door, then you need to leave the little bottled key out overnight. If the key is gone in the morning, the children will know that their fairy has moved in and the magical journey begins!
There's also an interactive feature via the online site Fairy Valley, which boasts ongoing magical messages, play ideas and stories delivered to children and parents via email or at the brands immersive app.
The crafted fairy doors are available in a variety of colors and styles, with optional add-ons such as vinyl decals, fairy dust and washing lines with either male or female fairy clothing.
The fairy doors retail for $24.99 and are available online at www.theirishfairydoorcompany.com
