Last week the BLING movie debuted exclusively FREE on Google Play! An animated story filled with robot superheroes on an adventure to save an engagement ring and the city?! Of course my son and I had to watch it!

My Review

At first I thought BLING would be just a cute movie about a boy in love with a girl, trying to find a way to win her over. In the end he'll save the day with his robots against some random villains.

I was so wrong.

BLING might have started out about Sam trying to ask Sue to marry him. But the story and Sam develop into much more.

During his adventure Sam learns about himself as a person, the superhero robots provide both humor and guidance and even the villains teach (both Sam and viewers) an important life lesson.

BLING offers so much for families looking for a great animated story for the next family movie night.

BLING Synopsis

Featuring the voice talents of Taylor Kitsch, Carla Gugino and James Woods, BLING follows the tale of lowly theme park mechanic Sam whose plan to marry the girl of his dreams is thwarted by a super villain.

After mistaking each other’s rings for their own, Sam teams up with his robot superheroes to track down his engagement ring and save the city...learning that it’s not about the size of the bling, but the size of your heart.

  1. If the tables were turned and I were to ask my Husband to marry me, I believe I would just come out and ask him. Or maybe I would put a note in with his lunch for work.

  31. This question struck me as kind of amusing, until I really thought about it. It made me realize that between my hubby and myself, he's the romantic one!! I love being on the receiving end of it, but realized I have no real idea how to be the one making the romantic gestures! I'd probably just make his favorite meal and pop the question when we got to desert
