Target Wonderland NYC Unveil Party #TargetWonderland

This week we took a magical trip to downtown NYC for the unveiling of Target Wonderland, which is described as a “first-of-its-kind retail experience” that is part magical toy store and part Pop Art exhibit.

Target Wonderland is truly an amazing shopping experience. The whole area is transformed into a winter wonderland, where families can enjoy holiday themed stations while picking up items from their shopping list.

Visitors to Target Wonderland can jump aboard the “S.S. Free Shipping” LEGO ship, draw on a giant Etch-a-Sketch, face off on a super-sized Xbox Kinect Snow-N-Roll, and even use a Rube Goldberg-like contraption to personalize an ornament as they move through the space.

At one of stations I had the chance to meet with Target partners, the Narvaez family from RealityChangers.

With families getting ready for the holiday, I asked the Narvaez family for some tips to share. They shared that playing board games, planning a scavenger hunt and over all keeping the focus simple and family orientated is a few ways families can enjoy the holiday season.

I do agree! I'm glad I stopped to have a chat with these YouTube sensations.

As we visited the other stations, mainly the one with the melted chocolate drinks, we noticed quite a few celebrities also walking around.

We spotted Kristen Bell, Neil Patrick Harris, Chrissy Teigen, Malin Akerman and Camila Alves among other celebrities who also came out to celebrate the unveiling of Target Wonderland.

Sadly I couldn't stop for photos with them because I was busy chasing after my son before he got to the next treats stations!

While we had a sneak peak of Target Wonderland, starting Wednesday, Dec. 9, through Dec. 22, Target Wonderland will be FREE and open to the public at 70 10th Avenue (at West 15th Street) in New York City. Hours of operation: Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. EST and Sunday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. EST.

  10. I'm so jealous that I'm no longer in NYC any longer. I might have to make a quick trip up there one day and maybe we can hang out at some of these cool events you get to go to. BTW why couldn't Target do this in other states too?
