Raggedy Ann & Andy 100th Birthday Rag Dolls Review

Did you know that this year RAGGEDY ANN celebrated her 100th birthday?! Happy birthday to her! When I was a little girl I'm remember having my own RAGGEDY ANN doll. So I'm was excited to received both a RAGGEDY ANN and RAGGEDY ANDY rag dolls to review and celebrate the 100th birthday with my son.

Note: I received product sample for review purpose. No other compensation was received. Any personal views expressed are always 100% my own.

I should mention that when ordering our RAGGEDY ANN and RAGGEDY ANDY rag dolls, I made a special request for the African American versions. I saw them while touring Aurora World booth during Toy Fair 2015 and LOVED them.

I think it's wonderful that there's a "black" version for these dolls. When I grew up with mine, there wasn't this option. So my doll was the classic red hair, fair skin.

But times have changed and more toy products are being offered with diversity.

So I was excited to gift him a RAGGEDY ANDY doll that looked like people he can identify with. That looked like his family. My son was VERY excited about this.

But that's not the only awesome things about our dolls. The RAGGEDY ANN and RAGGEDY ANDY rag dolls are super soft and cuddly with style!

There's wonderful details on their outfits, with the embroidery on collars, as buttons and to spell out their names.

They both have the famous hair made of yarn, a triangle nose, and the exclusive 100th year commemorative hang tags. A feature doll collectors will love when adding these to their RAGGEDY ANN and RAGGEDY ANDY collection.

Both these RAGGEDY ANN and RAGGEDY ANDY rag dolls make a great gift for a child or an adult (for memories or collecting)

But these aren't the only RAGGEDY ANN and RAGGEDY ANDY rag dolls styles.

  2. I did not realize that these dolls were still around! Just goes to show--the oldies are still the goodies and most sought after. Of course they did not have the variety back then that they have now!
