My son and I are always looking for things new and different. But when we received an offer to check out LARD: Life's A Real Dream, a new off-broadway, all-ages music spectacular from multi-media artist Steve Erdman, I had no idea the outer world experience we were in for!

The show itself is VERY interactive with balloons, bubble wrap popping and pretzels. Yes pretzels. But you don't eat these. You toss them to Lard Dog who try to catch them all.

As you can see families are encouraged to become an active part of the show while LardDog and the Band of Shy play a mix of music and songs. Between the all the singing, back and forth activities and on stage story telling, kids will be engaged for the whole performance.

If your family can handle a multi sensory experience that's different, then check out LARD: Life's A Real Dream Musical.
