This week Annie's Homegrown hosted event where I learned about the brands new products including Certified Organic Soups, Vegan Mac & Cheese and Bake and Share Doughs (cookies, cinnamon rolls & more!).

Note: I was invited as media to this event. No other compensation was received. Any personal views expressed are always 100% my own.

The first impressive point I learned about Annie's, is that it's a natural and organic food brand offering a wide range of products made without artificial flavors, synthetic colors and preservatives common in many packaged food products. Annie's sources ingredients to avoid synthetic growth hormones and genetically modified food ingredients.

Annie's offers lots for families looking to make favorite meals (and snacks!) with more healthy options. A few products that caught my eye (and taste) during the preview included:

Annie's Homegrown Organic and Vegan Products

Annie's Organic Vegan Shells & Creamy Sauce (made with organic wheat pasta) and Annie's Organic Vegan Gluten Free Elbows & Creamy Sauce (made with organic rice pasta). Both varieties feature a vegan sauce made with pumpkin and sweet potato. Combine with non-dairy milk for a creamy, delicious alternative to imitation cheese sauces common in other vegan meals.

Both varieties (SRP: 6oz / $2.89) available at Whole Foods Market nationwide.

  17. We took part in the cheddar bunnies and pizza campaign last year from Annie's Homegrown organic and now my daughter ask for me to get Annie products every where we go. We have a cute youtube video about what we had up. Pizza, fruit snacks and cheddar bunnies are Bella's favorite.

  21. All this stuff looks sooo healthy!! I'm afraid my kids might all end up just too healthy, or else I'm sure I'd buy it. All that healthy junk food might be too much for their delicate digestive systems to adjust to.
