PBS KIDS & Whole Foods Back to School & Holiday Toys That Give Back
This week PBS KIDS hosted a preview of their new educational and responsibly-made toys launching this holiday season in Whole Foods Market locations.
Note: I was invited as media to this event and received a gift bag. However, any personal views expressed are always 100% my own.
Holiday Toys: The PBS KIDS toys, including the sustainably-made wooden PlanToys and the plush life-like animals, will be available in Whole Foods Market stores beginning November 15, 2015
The preview also highlighed their new back to school supplies which support kids in need. The new line of back-to-school products feature notebooks made from recycled paper to organic cotton backpacks and reusable lunch totes.
Available exclusively at Whole Foods Market stores July and August.
All products give back to children:
One-hundred percent of PBS KIDS’ net proceeds from the line will support PBS KIDS educational programming, dedicated to helping all children succeed in school and in life, while Whole Foods Market will donate a percentage of total sales, up to $25,000, to Whole Kids Foundation™, an organization dedicated to improving children’s nutrition and wellness.
In addition, for every back-to-school Esperos backpack, pencil case and lunch tote purchased, Esperos will donate 10 percent of proceeds to help fund education for children in need through the Esperos Carry Hope™ initiative.
