Once again the team of KidzVuz hosted an event to help families get ready to go back to school. We of course had to be there!
Note: I was invited as media to this event and received a gift bag. However, any personal views expressed are always 100% my own.
This year the KidzVuz team celebrated this time of the year with a fun party and connect families with a lot of amazing sponsors, including LG, Wonder Workshop, Sony Pictures Pixels, Game Stop, LEGO and many more!
There was lots going on during the #KidzVuzBTS bash, so here are just a few of the sponsors we visited to get back to school tips and info.
Our first stop was the Lysol area where my son had fun "killing" germs while playing a game of wack a germ.
Then we learned about where we can find germs and how we can practice healthy habits.
Then we visited ClassRomm Direct, an online resource where families can find all sorts of classroom supplies.
At the AVG area, we learn how to keep families safe online and teach kids about cyber-bullying.
Then we made healthy lunch boxes with LGUS and did our part to help No Kid Hungry feed children struggling with hungry.
After all that back to school focus, it was time to relax and find ways to enjoy the last few days of summer! So we headed over to the other areas to find some fun.
We spent ALOT of time at the Hasbro booth checking out the newest toys and games.
Then a meet and greet with WWE superstars Natalya and Mark Henry. They weren't so scary and mean outside the ring!
We hung out at the Philips Sound booth, where my son did a bit of dancing along to the music blasting from the ShoqBox. Great speaker for kids who like to take their music with them
Then he made the Wonder Workshop programmable robots Dash & Dot do a few dance moves in their booth. The robot is really easy to learn and use.
Of course we had to get some gaming time in.
First with Lego Dimensions, the upcoming new gaming experience that merges physical LEGO brick building with digital gameplay for interactive console gaming with combined brands (including DC Comics, The Lord of the Rings, Scooby-Doo and The Simpsons) in one game.
Then with Pixels movie arcade games and a few different games in the GameStop section.
What a fun night!
