Back to School with Macy's & Radio Disney in Downtown Brooklyn #MacysBTS #Sponsored
Last weekend we enjoyed a day at Macy's in Downtown Brooklyn during their “Back to School – Radio Disney event hosted with Jes Perez. Our day was filled with lots of fun family friendly activities including a kids fashion show, story time, arts ad crafts and lots of dancing!
Note: I attended this event on behalf of Everywhere Society and was compensation for this post. However, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
Macy's Downtown Brooklyn #MacysBTS event started off with a kid fashion featuring children from The Brooklyn Alvin Ailey Dance school.
The clothing featured fashion trends that are hot now including prints and patterns for both tops and bottoms, moto jackets styles, and crew sweat shirts.
After striking a pose on the cat walk, the kids showed off their dances moves for the families and guest in the crowd.
Then it was time for the kids in crowd to come on stage and show off their dance movies. The kids were so adorable as they did they're little dances.
After a round of dancing, there was giveaway contest and trivia Q&A where kids at the event won cool prizes to take home.
But the fun didn't end there. The next activity was story time with The Brooklyn Public Library. The kids and families enjoyed a reading of The Sundae Scoop by Stuart J. Murphy.
Of course a book about enjoying ice cream should be followed by a related theme arts and crafts project. The kids then were able to make different ice cream treats after the story reading.
What a fun day for families at Macy's Downtown Brooklyn #MacysBTS event. We had a great time thanks to Macy's Downtown Brooklyn and Radio Disney.
