Movie Monday: Warner Bros "Godzilla" Film Trailer #GODZILLA

Godzilla! I've been a fan of Godzilla movies since childhood. I remember watching Godzilla stomp through cities while fighting some mutated giant bug/insect/robot. He's a classic SciFi monster and always enjoyable to watch.

But I have to confess, my excitement isn't just about seeing the world's most famous lizard. The fact that Oscar nominee Ken Watanabe is starring in this latest Godzilla movie also has me swooning!

An epic rebirth to Toho's iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, pits the world's most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.

Gareth Edwards directs “Godzilla,” which stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson (“Kick-Ass”), Ken Watanabe (“The Last Samurai,” “Inception”), Elizabeth Olsen (“Martha Marcy May Marlene”), Oscar® winner Juliette Binoche (“The English Patient,” “Cosmopolis”), and Sally Hawkins (“Blue Jasmine”), with Oscar® nominee David Strathairn (“Good Night, and Good Luck.,” “The Bourne Legacy”) and Bryan Cranston (“Argo,” TV’s “Breaking Bad”).

Releasing from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures “Godzilla.” opens on May 16, 2014 in 3D, 2D and IMAX in select theatres.

  1. I didn't know Ken Watanabe was in this. That's cool, I'm always interested whenever there is an Asian actor in a mainstream film because they're so rare!
