Introducing My Son to Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Presents LEGENDS #RinglingBros

After our backstage visit with Ringling Bros. Circus Elephants and our All Access Pre-Show fun, my son and I were ready to see Legends, one of the new shows touring national.

My son hasn't been to a Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus performance and I was so excited to share this first time with him.

Ringling Bros Barnum and Bailey Presents Legends

After a few minutes in our seats the show started with a grand entrance featuring a parade of different performers lead by ringmaster Johnathan Lee Iverson.

My son was immediately memorized. I have to admit I was a bit in awe also. Ok a lot in awe. There was so many amazing things going on. There was women spinning above us in the air and animals, motorcycle trope and other performers in the area below.

Once the parade was over and ringmaster Johnathan Lee Iverson started to narrate the stories and performances we'd see during the Legends show.

The Thundering Cossack Warriors "Trick Riding"

But amazing acts of acrobatics and animals training aren't the only things you'll enjoy during Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Presents LEGENDS. The show is titled Legends for a reason.

Ringling Bros also brings the mythical and mysterious creatures of the past to life for families to enjoy including

a Woolly Mammoth

a Pegasus

and a Unicorn

While we all know these are animals "dressed up" as mythical creatures, the presentation and amazement is no less real. And this is the magic of the Ringling Bros circus. I'm glad I had the chance to introduce my son to magic of the circus and its performers.

  16. I bet that was a great show. We were supposed to go see them when they were in our area. Unfortunately our tickets were fora night time show and my husband got a migraine so he was unable to make it. The area it was in was not someplace I was comfortable going by myself at night so we ended up missing it. I love all the pictures, it looks like we missed a really great time.
