Bikes in the Snow - Wordless Wednesday

Lately we've had so many snow storms, I've lost count. The snow would come, cover everything in white then melt and disappear. Then the process would start all over again.

Bikes in the Snow

Usually there's no sign of the old snow but sometimes...if you look...you can see signs of it

I saw these bikes holding the old snow and had to take a photo. I wonder how the owners of the bikes will get the snow off.

  1. Oh man, I don't think they're going anywhere for a while. And if they do, I hope they have a towel and a bum warmer. Eesh!!

  2. And people keep telling me it's going to snow again tomorrow. I refuse to believe them. :)

  3. I hate living in the south! We get all the cold weather without the benefit of the snow. It's like paying for a car and then never having the car!

  4. Oy - this is why I moved from the north to the south :) Although we've had crazy weather this year here too - ice storm in North Texas that had us shuttered in for 3 days - crazy!

  6. Ohmagoodness. I would be so mad if that were my bike! I guess they have to wait for it to melt or get a broom!

  7. WOW! That must have been some serious snow. I remember seeing something similar when I lived in Colorado. It can be tough to get that off once it turns to ice.

  10. Wow! That reminds me of growing up in MA and CT. I definitely don't miss seeing snow at all. I think those bikes will be there for quite a while...thawing out very slowly!

  13. WOW! The owners better get the snow out or their bikes won't be worth much in a while. I'm so glad I don't live where it snows anymore.

  14. I would not want to have to go somewhere on my bike and come out to find that! LOL! I wonder how they got all the snow off without freezing themselves?

  15. I cannot believe how much snow has fallen in the upper midwest and northeast this year. Every time I look at the weather channel, they say y'all are in for a mess of snow again.

  17. I have only seen snow once this season so far, and that was only flurries. Feel free to send a LITTLE BIT of that my way. :)

  18. That's funny how incredibly coated and packed with snow they are! Especially with all the sidewalks and everything bare!
