Being Measured - Wordless Wednesday

Rulers are great tools. While I like to use my ruler to draw straight lines, etc.....

measuring with a ruler

My son had other ideas for using the ruler. Like measuring how long our arms are. First he measured his. Then mine. Then he compared.

Have you ever been measured by a ruler or other object? LOL

I remember having our noses measured in school for some crazy project. It was science class, I think.

I'm pretty sure we had days in grade school where we measured oodles of things. I remember we had to measure each other for that project too. That was a fun way to work on math. :)

No I can't say I have ever been measured by a ruler-Actually it shows that your son is using his ever growing mind to think of how to do things-very inventive!

I've measured my feet with a ruler, and the space between my elbow and wrist, to see if they're the same like the rumor says. :)

Hey, he's putting his math skills to good work! Any kind of learning is good learning, right? And yes, I have been measured, but it was by a tape measure.

You know, when I was your sons age, I would never have thought of measuring arms and comparing them. Smart kid you got there.

I've been measured quite a lot. I actually get measured once a month being military. Gotta love kids and their imagination. :)

Your son is adorable! :) I measure myself probably once a month, actually, since I'm trying to lose weight and inches. :)

Kids are so curious it's great! My DD uses the fabric measuring tape as string to play with to connect her dolls together and things like that. She's not quite measuring but she'll learn soon!
