Hosting Our MAX STEEL Viewing Party & Turbo Sword Review #MaxSteel

As my son gets older, he's starting to get more into action figures and cooperative adventure play. It's fun to see him go off on an adventure with friends. To help encourage this type of play, I was excited to host a MAX STEEL party. We've watched the MAX STEEL Disney XD animated series a few times and enjoyed it. So I knew my son would enjoy playing with MAX STEEL toys in real life.

I invited some of his friends to watch episodes on a MAX STEEL DVD, while playing with a few of the Max Steel action figures by Mattel.

The MAX STEEL action figures were a super hit. Both boys and girls enjoyed putting on the action figure accessories and then play "battling" each other. Each child's action figure has a special superpower move which made game play fun. It was also exciting for the kids that the action figures glowed with “Turbo energy”.

After a few minutes to enjoy their action figures the kids settled down to watch the MAX STEEL DVD. The kids loved that Maxwell and his alien friend Steel had so much adventure and action.

After watching a few episodes I brought out the final toy for the party. The MAX STEEL Turbo Sword Combo. Now there's a reason I saved this for last. The sword is big and made for adventure. The sword comes with Steel who can either stand on his own (comes with a stand) or be attached to the sword. The sword blade also lights up in a signature blue hue with sound. Of course my son loved it.

You can see the sword in action in this below video

As you can see our MAX STEEL party was a hit. The kids enjoyed all the MAX STEEL themed toys and playing with each other.

If your child (or you) also like MAX STEEL, then be sure to check retail stores nationwide for the MAX STEEL Turbo Sword (MSRP $29.99) and other MAX STEEL toys including the MAX STEEL Turbo Team-Up Figure Assortment ($12.99) that we played with.

  7. Cool toys. Angelo seems to be slowy approaching this phase. He keeps asking to see 'the scary one' I thought I'd try him on Ben 10 which he seemed to be getting into but I switched when he was not look. It seemed a bit too dark for him he's not 3year yet. I must check out Max Steel see what he's all about :0)

  8. Max Steel is a very cool cartoon that show friendship, teamwork and a sense of humor. Its better suited for kids 6 and up cause of the "fighting" and they understand it better. Thanks for the comments
