Getting His Own Breakfast - Wordless Wednesday

This week my son took helping himself to the next level. One morning, while I was on the phone with my mom, I noticed my son was in the kitchen. When I went to see what he was doing, I saw this. Of course I took a photo

Then I ask him what he was doing. His reply? "I was getting pancakes. I'm hungry."

Seems I was taking too long to make breakfast and he decided to make it himself. Ironically, he's not tall enough to reach the freezer shelf for the pancakes. Yet.

How has your child tried to "help" themselves this week?

  1. This looks like my daughter's efforts to reach things in the freezer. Usually she isn't too successful yet. At least they are trying! Cute photo!
