Sunday with Wanda's Monster family musical #WandasMonster

Normally we spend Sunday relaxing at home and preparing for the coming week. But this Sunday we received an invitation to Vineyard Theatre for a bloggers brunch and preview showing with Wanda's Monster, a family musical produced by Making Books Sing with new music by Laurie Berkner!

Last month, Scherrie of Thirty Mommy reviewed Wanda's Monster for this blog and really enjoyed it. I have a feeling my son and I would enjoy it also. There was singing, dancing and a Monster. A good combination for a musical!

Before the show, we joined other families to take photos showing how "monster like" we can be. My son clearly makes a better monster then me.

Then we headed in to enjoy the show. And oh boy did we. My son sung along, clapped and danced to the songs. Which is a great way to get extra energy out of the kids during the sitting scenes. The story itself was simple but sweet. Wanda had a Monster in her closet she started out being afraid of but becomes friends with later. The story was told in a really fun way.
