Enjoying Summer with Vita Coco Kids Review & Giveaway CLOSED

Now that summer has arrived, my son and I have been enjoying different activities and visiting friends and family. So far this summer we've gone to the beach, the zoo, various parks and playgrounds just to name a few places. Since we're outside doing so much, I need products to keep us hydrated and energized.

Vita Coco Kids coconut water beverages

So when I was offered a review box of the Vita Coco Kids, a new line of coconut water beverages made especially for children ages 2 to 8, it was a good fit. I grew up drinking coconut water and knew how great it can be during the summer to help relieve a thirst and cool you down.

To me summer is all about being outside and enjoying the day. We LOVE doing that!

This week my son and nieces spent time playing soccer outside. Since I had chilled and packed a few boxes of Vita Coco Kids, they were able to stay hydrated and received the nutrients they needed to play and be kids.

Vita Coco Kids contains natural, nutrient-dense and electrolyte-filled coconut water, filtered water, natural fruit flavors, vitamin C and provides potassium – a nutrient that both children and adults don’t get enough of, according to the US Dietary Guidelines.

Also Vita Coco Kids has only 35 calories and 8 grams of sugar per 6 fl. oz. unit. This is fewer calories and approximately half the sugar of most other children’s beverages, and no artificial sweeteners.

As a parent I like that Vita Coco Kids has these healthy benefits in a coconut water beverage that tastes great. My son enjoyed drinking them and I admit, I had a taste test of one of the boxes also. Vita Coco Kids offers a really nice light and refreshing taste.

But the inside beverage isn't the only nice thing I noticed about Vita Coco Kids. The outside box design also impressed me as a parent. Check out my below video review to see why.

Did you hear and see my son with his cousins playing in the background? That's what summer is all about!

While we enjoyed Vita Coco Kids to keep hydrated this summer, it will also be great for back to school or anytime your child is thirsty and needs a beverage with no artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives. Plus as you saw in my video, the Tetra Paks are easy to travel and "eco- and socially-responsible packaging based on the use of wood fiber, a sustainable source."

  11. Ugh! I didn't realize my husbands Facebook was logged in. I already did a few entries so I don't want to log in under mine and add more. So my entries are under Don Williams. Sorry about that!
