Symphony Space Mista Cookie Jar Review and Upcoming Justin Roberts Concert Discount Code

A few weeks ago I posted about Mista Cookie Jar and the Chocolate Chips coming to the Symphony Space. I hope some of my readers were able to get tickets to the show. I took my son to see if and we both enjoyed it.

I really liked how Mista Cookie Jar and the Chocolate Chips entertained the kids with music. The songs were an upbeat mix of zany and fun.

From singing about his dog to singing about being a friend, Mista Cookie Jar and the Chocolate Chips really tried to connect with the kids in audience.

During some of the songs they walked in the audience encouraging kids to get up and dance along. They even had bubble, which the younger kids had fun popping anc chasing after. It was an enjoyable family friendly show!

Mista Cookie Jar and the Chocolate Chips show was part of Symphony Space "Just Kidding" kid appropriate performances.

Symphony Space offers musical concerts, theatre productions and culturally diverse performances for families with children ages 3-9, every Saturday (and select Sundays) from October through the end of April. This season’s lineup offers interactive shows from the nation’s top independent musical acts as well as theatre, dance and physical comedy.

This coming weekend, Symphony Space will feature two concerts with Justin Roberts and the Not Ready For Naptime Players on Saturday, February 23rd 11 am and 2 pm

Justin Roberts and the Not Ready For Naptime Players

At his annual Just Kidding performances, Justin will perform hits like "Willy Was a Whale" and "Pop Fly," plus new songs from his forthcoming summer release, Recess.

Critics compare Justin Roberts to Buddy Holly, Nick Lowe, Weezer and even Paul McCartney. Millions have seen him on The Today Show and Nick Jr., TV, and one of his songs was featured on a World Series broadcast. A former Montessori preschool teacher, Justin clearly remembers what it was like to be a kid, and his high-energy pop sound will bring everyone in the family to their feet, dancing and singing along.

Justin’s eighth family music CD, Lullaby, reached the top of several “Best of 2012” lists. Justin was nominated for a Grammy award for his 2010 release Jungle Gym, and he has won six Parents' Choice awards for his original music for today’s families.

For the Justin Roberts concerts, Symphony Space has a discount code for those purchasing tickets in advance for select seats in the "balcony" area.

To get $12 per ticket pricing, enter the code: JR4JK at checkout from online purchases. This is a substantial discount of the list rate, particularly for adults, where prices go up as high as $25.
