Preschool self dressing - Wordless Wednesday

For the past few weeks, I've allowed my son more independence. I let him do as much as he can on his own in different areas....like getting dressed.....without my help. This naturally leads to some very interesting "styling" on his part

One morning my son chose a white t-shirt, sweat pants (that he wore backwards) and one boot as his outfit of choice to go to school. One boot?!

While I was impressed that he put on his boot on the right foot, I suggested it was a good idea to wear the other boot.....and a bit more clothing.

Does your child dress themselves? Do they make good fashion choices?

Okay that's hilarious! I let my son pick out his own shirts, but then I always do all the rest.

How cute!. It's a half and half with my daughter whether she dresses herself.

I love the one boot. How funny. My girls wear uniforms to school, so no problems.

This is too precious. My kids are grown, but early on they began dressing themselves. It's good for them to learn independences and self-reliance, but sometimes they still need Mom's help. Visiting you via the WW hop!

Ha ha ha! I love it. My daughter dresses herself but I think I'll wait a little more for my 2 year old to get the reigns!!

I love the outfits that kids pick out when they start dressing themselves. I'm glad you convinced him to wear that 2nd boot.

I'd love for you to link up over at Tales of a Pee Dee Mama

My son is into skinny jeans and he is very particular about the length and the waist size...so odd.

lol! He is so cute! My kids have always dressed themselves. now that they're older, they do a pretty good job of looking half normal when they go out the door.

How cute is that. I don't think he would have been very happy having to spend a day at school with one boot.

One shoe is better than none. My daughter tries to take her shoes off wherever we go. Restaurants, stores, it doesn't matter. She also tries to do socks and sandals when it's cold. Ugh. We're going through this right now too. My daughter was wearing a long sleeve shirt, sparkly leggings, and sparkly sandals on an 80 degree day this week. She loves the glitter!

my 4 year old does a pretty good job dressing herself, but she still makes questionable choices!

Cute! My DD tries to dress herself, too, and things are sometimes inside out backwards, or just in the wrong place. It's hilarious and cute at the same time.
