LEGO Legends of Chima Screening

Explore the newest world from LEGO – Chima! Watch two full episodes and an EXCLUSIVE trailer for episode 3 from the series on the Cartoon Network in the Scholastic Auditorium. Afterwards, find your own CHI with Chima building challenges and learn more about the mysterious forces that helped create the warriors of Chima with Legends of Chima Origins: A Starter Handbook!

Chinese New Year

Ages 4 and up

Break out your favorite red clothing and help us ring in the year of the Snake! Make paper lanterns and find out what animal you were born under on the Chinese Zodiac. Plus, make your own Paper Flying Dragon!

Happy Birthday Clifford!

Ages Birth and up

Clifford celebrates his 50th Birthday this year and our expert birthday party planners have been hard at work to make his party BIG fun! Get your face painted, have a cupcake and dance the afternoon away with Clifford. And of course, you’ve got to make your own birthday hat to wear in a picture with the birthday boy himself!

A favorite of ours at The Scholastic Store, New York Times bestselling illustrator Stephen Savage visits to introduce us to Polar Bear Morning, the follow-up to Polar Bear Night. Hear a reading of the new book and meet with the illustrator. Then, make a pom-pom polar bear to take home.

Don’t forget that you can also stop in every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 11:00 a.m. for free storytime too!
