Making UNICEF Trick-or-Treat Halloween Box

After checking out H&M’s All for Children Collection, my son and I enjoyed some of the family activities around the store.

UNICEF Trick-or-Treat Halloween Box

My son enjoyed designing his own Trick-or-Treating for UNICEF box while I learned about the new characters on the UNICEF collection boxes including Frank, Count Change-ula, Lady Pennyworth, Bertha DeBroom, Shadow, and Patches!

I think it's a cute idea that kids can collect more then candy this Halloween and help UNICEF provide clean water, nutrition, education and more to millions of kids in need around the world. Also pretty cool is the Create-a-Character Contest, where kids can design and submit their own Halloween character for a chance to be part of Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF’s 2013 limited edition collection.

Making a sock puppet in H&M store

After the box making we made a stop by the sock making table. My son designed his sock person from top to bottom with custom eyes, a body and even feet. I tried telling him a sock puppet doesn't need feet but he insisted. After he proudly showed off his creation. Feet and all.

What a fun H&M store event.
